Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

Welcome to our school. Whalan Public School is a place where every student is known, valued and supported to reach their full potential. We uphold high expectations for learning, wellbeing and engagement, and are committed to explicit, high-quality teaching.

We engage and support our learners through a broad curriculum enhanced by specialist teachers in the arts, science and PDHPE, while nurturing our High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) students and supporting the growth of our students with additional learning needs.

Strong connection with students and partnerships with families sit at the heart of our school, ensuring every child feels a sense of belonging and confidence. I invite you to explore our website and discover what makes our school a place where students are proud to learn and grow.
